He served as General Counsel to both Genicom Corporation (NASDAQ-listed), a printer manufacturer and technical services company, and to MROLink, a B2B Internet startup company owned by Internet Capital Group. He also had legal support experience at Royal Bank of Canada in the areas of offshore trust and special purpose vehicle planning and sales. In addition, John has served as Director of Contracts in both international (where he was Location Ethics Officer) and federal contract business units of General Dynamics.
John taught a graduate level International Business and Taxation course on an adjunct basis at George Mason University’s International Institute (now part of the School of Management) from 1993-1996. He has also published a BNA Tax Management Portfolio, as well as nearly two dozen other articles on taxation, including the taxation of software.
